Video: Jessie Ware - Sweet Talk
200 Words launched a few monts back with the very first article being about Jessie Ware’s debut album ‘Devotion’. Now that very same album is -rightfully- reaching high in the end of the year lists and Jessie Ware is on a big US tour while also doing some collaborations, with Benzel & Katy B. And like that wasn’t enough the gorgeous songstress has now shared the video for Sweet Talk, one of my favourite songs of the album. The video features ms. Ware herself and Sweet Talk’s producer Julio Bashmore, but not completely as you’d expect. On the contrary.
Instead of showing Jessie Ware and Julio Bashmore hitting the studio themselves director Joel Wilson came up with something better. Jessie herself plays the mother of a cute kid who looks just like the real Jessie Ware and the kid goes into the studio with a cute and perfectly styled version of producer Julio Bashmore. So what you get is the images of mini-Jessie Ware and mini-Julio Bashmore being cute in studio and the two performing in a family performance dressed exactly the way the two senior versions usually do, where mini-Jessie even does Ware’s signature style hand dancing.
